Hmm... with all the talk about ships/boats (piratical or otherwise)... Wilhelm and the Harem in One Piece? Haki would be a new non-magecraft addition to his arsenal, the Rokushiki would be good inspiration (especially combining Soru and Geppo with his Hohō from Bleach), Devil Fruits to research, and a corrupt government to thumb their noses at. Sounds like a perfect vacation-world for them...

Unless he decides he REALLY needs to troll the Einzberns. (In which case: does he learn the Third True Magic himself? Or, teach non-magus humans to do it with pure technology, and get it demoted to mere Magecraft?)

I imagine Blake and the rest of the RWBY girls would have a hilarious reaction to him having a "faunus" daughter, especially if they see her majestic bombshell of a mom lol, Pyrrha is already aware of her from Wilhelm bragging and showing pictures but they haven't met yet so this is gonna be awesome

I always liked their interactions and could easily see it working as Wilhelm was always nicer and more patient with her compared to the others of their merry band of thieves (insert gold bar this chapter), and it's not like she's any less crazy than Salem, Alter Saber, or Alter Jeanne, which was the initial excuse as to why he wasn't going to make a move if I remember right? Plus, Roman's reaction would be hilarious, especially if Neo and Wilhelm disappeared for a while and came back with lots of cool sh*t and Neo was being all smug and wouldn't say where they got it :)

I could totally see Zelretch or Wiilhelm making a new granddaughter/daughter as a magus experiment with the whole aura/soul/magic/robot/tech thing sounding exactly like something Wilhelm or his grandfather would mess with out of sheer academic curiosity

But that's besides the point, both Scrolls and the Robots work off the CCT, knowing how it works -- getting the schematics -- would still be necessary even if they don't use a CCT themselves.

2026-02-09 20:21:13 +0000 UTCwould probably be nice if mc just starts visiting of screen so he doesnt ghost his friends in the different worlds, after all he can just jump over for a couple hours from time to time or he could start to use the flexible time between worlds to make it so its not to long from visit to visit (and as far as i remember he is allegedly doing that already, but nobody(most of the time) acts like he does, same goes for having regular calls with his girls)

2026-02-09 19:13:47 +0000 UTCI mean, if it's anything like in real life... schematics for Scrolls and CCT towers (although, not the latest models) are probably publicly available without any issue, in the same way that schematics for Mobile Phones and Cellphone Towers aren't exactly hard to find. (Heck, head to the patent office, and you can probably find details on a bunch of the latest parts too!) Roman could probably complete that part of the request with a "Dummies Guide to..." or a "How Things Work" from any decent book store, and make Watermelon feel like an idiot. The military robots, yes, will be a bit more difficult.

It's his job to see all the potential threats and to make precautions for them. He's also not some mustache twirling villain, he's not doing anything comically evil to 'detain' or 'obtain' all these 'threats'. He is shown to be amicable with Wilhelm despite Wilhelm being everything he's against. He's just vocal about expressing his views and stances with Ozpin and Glynda because he trusts them and they him. As for the CCT, both Scrolls and the Robots work off the CCT, even if they don't actually need the CCT itself, having the schematics on how it works would be important for going forward with things. But having their own private 'system' outside of Devil control would help. Imagine if every Youkai could get warnings in real time from across Shin-Kyoto in the case of an attack or something.

Someone needs to slap him down, hard. I also don’t really see how the cct could help the yokai, they seem to be fairly modernized in their dimension. They already have devilnet, cellphones, etc. Really good chapter, I love pretty much every scene with Wil and Phyrra interacting, and the Criminals of Remnant remain hilarious
