Berry: Here's Zoroark transforming into Gardevoir.

I received several comments on my last week released "Gardevoir vs. Lucario" artwork asking, "Isn't this Gardevoir actually Zoroark?" This confusion seems to have come from my depiction of Gardevoir's claws being unusually sharp.

No, it's not Zoroark.

It wasn't until these comments that I realized how sharp the claws appeared. I’m sorry for the confusion, but I'm really happy that you took the time to analyze my work. And, if I were to draw Zoroark disguised as Gardevoir, I wouldn't stop at such subtle differences. I decided on this theme to clarify that.

If I were to draw this, I would use more red. Instead of subtle hints, I would include clear signs such as mixing red into the eyes and mouth claws, changing the eye color, drawing beastly ears, or reverting the arms. I promise not to create ambiguous artwork.

Here is my take on "Zoroark Disguised as Gardevoir vs. Lucario."

For me, Zoroark disguised as Gardevoir is a theme that allows expressions that Gardevoir alone cannot convey. For example, an evil or seductive look that would be unthinkable for Gardevoir. However, I worry that Gardevoir fans might not accept it. After all, no matter how well I draw Gardevoir, it's still Zoroark. That thought might make it less appealing. Personally, I find enough charm in the idea of a fake, much like Yiga Zelda. I'm unsure how this new art will be received, but if it's positive, I might explore this theme further.

Unexpectedly, this art has also turned out to be suitable for an NSFW version.

I have mixed feelings about making Lucario (and Zoroark) my first NSFW piece, but I'll still post it exclusively for Orchard members.

先週公開した「サーナイト vs. ルカリオ」に、「このサーナイトは実はゾロアークではないのか？」というコメントがいくつかありました。これは私がサーナイトの爪を鋭く描いてしまったのが原因のようです。

いいえ、ゾロアークではありません。

自分でも指摘されて初めて、鋭いなとは思いました。混乱させて申し訳ありません。でも作品を分析してもらえたのは本当に嬉しく思います。もし私がサーナイトに変装したゾロアークを描くとしたら、このような微妙な違いで止まることはありません。それを明確にするために、今回のテーマを決めました。

私が描くなら、もっと赤色を使います。見た人を惑わせるような微妙な表現ではなく、はっきりとしたサインを入れておきます。それは、目や口の爪に赤色をまぜたり、瞳の色を変えたり、獣の耳を描いたり、腕だけ元に戻したり。決して、どちらかわからないような紛らわしい表現はしないと約束します。

これが、私の考える「サーナイトに変身したゾロアーク vs. ルカリオ」です。

私にとって、サーナイトに変装したゾロアークは、サーナイトだけでは表現できない表現を可能にするテーマです。例えば、サーナイトには考えられないような邪悪な表情や誘惑的な表情など。しかし、サーナイトファンには受け入れられないのではないかと心配しています。結局、サーナイトをどれだけ上手に描いても、それはゾロアークだから。そう考えると魅力が薄れるかもしれません。個人的には、偽物というアイデアに十分魅力を感じます。イーガ団ゼルダのように。今回のものがどう受け止められるのかはかわかりませんが、好意的に受け取られるならまた表現したいと思う。

そして、予想以上にNSFWバージョンが作れる題材になってしまった。

初めてのNSFWがルカリオ（とゾロアーク）になってしまったのは複雑な心境ですが、せっかくなのでOrchardメンバー向けに投稿します。
