Right there with you. Spot on.

I suffer a very similar spinal injury to yourself Steph. I was a volunteer ambulance officer, and thanks to a "prank" I wound up slipping and falling, landing with my L4/L5 joint on a concrete step and the bottom half of me landing on the step below. I've never been able to explain the pain I've gone through in the last 30 years the way you have in this review. It was poignant and authentic and I could feel every word. Unfortunately for me, I didn't realise I was covered for workers compensation for many years, as I volunteered to do this duty for a local kids group, and never advised my higher ups, so I've had no financial help all these years. And I am in your debt for your soliloquy from the wrestling ring at the end, thank you so much for summing up my lived experience so well.

Dang, this one left me feeling a little guilty. Years ago I was in a pulp-era TTRPG campaign and I gave my character a slight limp and movement penalty explained by the karma retribution trope. Back then, I thought it was fitting for the setting. Now I see it in a new light. I'm sorry. If it means anything, campaign ended a decade ago. I miss it, but I felt I took the character as far as he could go anyway. I'll think twice before making a character like that again.

Damn this one got personal. Sorry for all the pain you've suffered Stephanie.

Thank you, Steph. That's the most accurate description I've heard anyone else explain what I've also experienced. Definitely keeping this handy to share. Again, thank you so much. 🥲☮️❤️

Damn. This one hits close to home. I'm living with a non-visible disability (hearing loss), and have aging family members who are dealing with chronic health conditions. Every year I become more and more acutely aware of disability issues, becoming more angry/scared in the process. Thank you so much for making this video. You're giving voice to a lot of things I'm realizing but can't fully articulate yet. Keep it up. Stay righteous.

I love this game. I think it's just about perfect for what it is. And I don't think I will ever play it again.
