Not sure it entirely works (the ceiling is glass, IIRC, to create the illusion that upward mobility is possible) but a term for marginalized people being blamed is interesting. Trans people coming out and suddenly having "unsatisfactory" work is related (and relatable), and that needs a cliffesque term too.

A "glass cliff" is when a marginalized person is blamed for a project's failure (metaphorically thrown off a cliff). The quote about blaming a "woke" game's failure on being "woke" made me think of it.
