The animation starts to take its final form. I've refined movements a bit. Decied to leave placeholder ears animation as I like how they move, just added a bit of physics to them so they doesn't look too unnatural. For the body physics, sadly I wasn't able to properly configure it for this animation so extreme model clipping will be left without changes.

The new environment workflow gives a decent results, but there is a major issue with it. The tecnique consists of creating new models set for each project I work on. This way each project have models specificaly created for it. It's like creating multiple flower models from CMDL1 for each project. Each model have it's blocking/sculpting, retopology and texturing stage which takes some time. I think you already can see where I lead. It's very time consuming, especially for the posters where I spent a decent chunk of time on storytelliing. Gladly, background models doesn't require a lot of work because they placed behind main part of scene and they don't requre a lot of details (like trees in CA8). But if we take models that placed in front and close to the camera... They require a lot of work to look good.

Currently I'm looking into one of the solutions to this problem - using trim sheets (or tilesets) for secondary models. It's basically a plane (or set of modular models) with required texture and geometry. And if I need to build a house, I just can create trim sheet with planks, walls and windows. One problem with it is that a lot of parts will look the same.

Also I can create a universal models that ready to use in future projects instead of creating a model specifically for one scene. But it will take a lot more time to create one model, so for now I'll stick to the current way of creating models for scene.

Meanwhile, I'm experementing with Unreal Engine. I have plans to move to UE to render scenes as it gives a lot more possibilities for FX and scene quality overall.
