I'm not dead.

I'd like to think I put the two weeks ya'll so graciously gave me to good use. The epilogue's hitting a mighty six thousand words and nearly finished. It should be out within twenty four hours. Let me have a quick sleep and I can finish this last section.

So, as ever, thanks for your patience :D

Also, because it feels strange to have an entire update saying the chapter will be here soon, enjoy some lovely fan art by Nik.

Here is his deviantart page if you want to check out some of his other stuff: https://www.deviantart.com/wolkodaw

I'm not dead. I'm not dead. I'm not dead. I'm not dead. I'm not dead. I'm not dead. I'm not dead. I'm not dead.

Beta readers have it. ...8500 words. I'm going to go die quietly now.

There was a cool hfy called ‘small exploits’ and another ‘I am the monster the world needs’ that literally gave updates from the hospital and then never posted again. No updates in 2 years, but I laid a month of patreon to read the pay walled chapters.

This does make me wonder about what would happen if a creator died. Especially a small one. Would autopay just keep accumulating? Would it just shut off automatically after a period of creator inactivity? If nobody claimed the account, does Patreon just swipe it eventually? Return the money? or do they follow banking laws?
