I have fitness goals I wanna gain muscle
... I'm going to the doctor tomorrow I wanna ask them more questions about a way I can do it and plus my own personal research I just wanna feel more confident in my body.. I've always been slim I decided recently I don't have a issue with my slim build I have a issue with my self esteem so I'm working on my confidence and my body.. so strength training and self confidence building

Yesss def focus on building muscle first. It's so much easier and quicker imo than trying to build muscle and lose fat at the same time. Good luck on your journey!

Oh my god!!! It was like this video was meant for me to see😂 I have been on and off my fitness journey since I was 15 now am 18 and still had that idea that I could lose weight and gain muscle at the same time as I am kinda skinny fat😅I have been to the gym in about a month this is fr my sign to get back into it. And also just gaining that confidence again to actually go but i am definitely going to bulk then shred now instead. Try to focus on one thing at a time ☺️☺️❤️❤️

Don't be discouraged by the day to day fluctuations, it happens. I'm no health professional, but it sounds like your diet is what's causing the bloating. Eating excess salt usually causes that, so I would adjust that if you can

Honestly I'm still pretty new to the health fitness terminology like "Bulk, Gains & Cut" but I've been working on my dieting & being more consistent with my workouts & for me it definitely gets discouraging when I do workout & the next day I not only look bigger but feel bigger too, maybe I can gain some inspiration by listening to your journey & maybe learn something too, but it's probably good if I try to learn more about these fitness terms first cause the bloating after working out phase is definitely not motivating.

This is gonna be such great motivation Dee you have no idea!! I’m 17 and when I went for my 17yo doctor’s appointment, I weighed in at 189, which is much higher than I expected being a 5’6” male. I’ve been going to the gym weekly ever since then (3 days typically), and my goal is 4 to 5 days every week from now on. Still being in school makes that difficult but I’m gonna try!! Getting to see your progress will definitely help me push myself.

Lmao I feel that! That's always been my struggle. I would lose a lot of weight but look too frail, and wouldn't be happy with my size. Consistent weight lifting has been key in helping me avoid that

I'm 5"6 also and now 185 pounds, so I'm right there with ya girl lol and yeah my goal weight is around 165 also! That's the weight I've been in the past where I looked my best. But just stay consistent, that's the key. Even if you don't eat the best on some days or have the best workouts, just gotta keep going. Consistency over perfection!

I do have fitness goals for this year. I’m a type of person who likes to see results fast but also the one to be lazy about going to the gym like I will probably go one or two times a week if that. but this year I really wanna be on top of my shit because I do have a goal in mind and I want to get fit for my birthday. Even if I don’t do anything it would be nice to just be in a better body and feel better about my body. If you have any suggestions I’ll gladly take them. I am 186 pounds the last time I checked 5’6 I don’t look fat to other people, but in my opinion, it could definitely be better because I’ve seen myself at 165 and it was a completely different story.
