Honestly, I could not find/think of an Easter Bunny story to make a comic on, so I made this meme-ish comic. Easter the bunny reluctantly agreed to do this.
Easter is a Christian holiday celebrating the resurrection of Jesus Christ. I am a Christian, so this is a big part of my beliefs. The resurrection part. Not the eggs and bunnies. And, funny enough, the egg and bunny in modern Easter celebrations have pagan roots: Ēostre is the West Germanic goddess of spring and fertility, whose symbol was the hare or rabbit. Eggs were commonly exchanged in pagan festivals as well.
The original Easter Bunny was an egg-laying hare called “Osterhase”, but I wanted to make my own design of it. Just a grumpy bunny named Easter in a metallic egg. How creative.
