It was a British production, shown on VH1 here in the US when originally broadcast, and this episode was definitely one of the best! You can read all about it, and see a full list of the episodes, in the Wikipedia entry on the series. That entry says that DVD releases of each episode include additional material not included in the original 50-minute shows. They're apparently all on Amazon Prime Video, but only some of them are watchable for free with an Amazon subscription.

Plush TV Jazz-Rock Party is a live album recording of a PBS In the Spotlight special on Steely Dan, released in 2000 (along with the video recording). This video focuses on a special concert, recorded live in January 2000 at the Sony Studios in New York City, New York and features tracks from their (at the time) unreleased album Two Against Nature but also contains additional documentary footage. It's so worth watching many times over. It would've been so cool if they had Jay Graydon on it too but oh well. And it was so hilarious when they were listening to the other solos and Donald said."kinda speaks for itself". And is it just me but doesn't Don have Ray Charles mannerisms when he's playing? So cool you've been able to discover Steely Dan! I'm a new patron(been subbed for a while now) and look forward to more cool stuff from you both! Have you checked out SD's album The Royal Scam yet? It's awesome of course!

I soooo much enjoy the reactions of others when they finally “get it” and Aja becomes something special in their lives as well. I’ve seen this documentary many time and enjoyed it just as much sharing it with both of you. You recognize the genius of Walt & Don. Enjoy your life from this point on because it has changed… and all for the better as there is still so much more Dan for you to explore. And an FYI. Just a few weeks ago, Steely Dan released their 1st new Live album in 25 years and Fagen released a “Live Nightfly” album as well. Thank you Nick & Lex.
