Full Length Reaction Guide
We take copyright law very seriously, so you will have to sync up our reaction to your own version of the show/movie. To help, we have a range of guiding tools throughout the reaction to help you sync up with us, including a small snippet of the scene to ensure you are in sync. Any instances in which you see the screen cut, this means we’ve had technical difficulties or have skipped a potential disruptions/bloopers. This means you will need to sync up your copy of the show again, if we are unable to edit these cuts seamlessly into the next scene. An updated timecode will be provided on the screen. Anytime we pause, there will be timer/countdown on screen to prompt you. So if we’re about to pause, there’ll be a countdown, and you are expected to pause as the number reaches 0. The same will happen when we press play after pausing. You will press play as the number reaches 0. Here are some popular ways people sync up the reaction with their own copy of the show:
Use a dual monitor PC setup to watch both screens simultaneously
Use the split screen functions on your computer/phone to watch them side by side
Chromecast / Screenshare one screen to your TV while watching the other screen on a phone or laptop
HDMI your laptop / tablet to the TV and use the TV as a 2nd monitor (not mirror display)
Use your Smart TV or Gaming console to play the YouTube reaction and your Phone/Laptop to play the show (or other way around)

2025-07-21 02:02:13 +0000 UTCThe parallel to Miller's action to execute Dresden is mirrored involuntarily in what Holden feels he has to do here, to take out that rescue ship that likely did have good intentions but, regardless, could not be allowed to escape and spill the proverbial beans system-wide. It killed him inside and it's definitely a pivotal moment in his character. Also, it's hard to put a price tag on the Nauvoo, but we're easily talking into the trillions of dollars equivalent to today, an unreal expense for the Mormons who were robbed of their temple. Sure it's for understandable reasons given what we know as the audience, but imagine if someone commandeered the Oasis of the Sea and tried to ram it into an Island somewhere...

2025-07-20 23:54:56 +0000 UTCThe scene in the beginning when Chrisjen is talking to Mao and Errinwright is the exact moment she became one of my top favorite characters. I love her so freaking much. This episode also has one of my favorite Holden character moments: his decision to destroy the ship. He tries so hard to save those people but he also has seen exactly what even a little bit of the protomolecule can do and he just can’t take that risk. It’s such a difficult decision he had to make and I love so much how the actor portrays the desperation when trying to convince them to leave and then all the anger and despair after pushing the button. Just so good. Oh Miller. I was just like yall and in denial and was like there’s no way this is happening now right??? And then Eros moves….

2025-07-20 22:01:09 +0000 UTCSmall change in the opening this episode. After the destruction of the Martian moon Deimos last episode, Deimos is now a bunch of debris. There's a detail I became aware of in the opening a few weeks ago. In the clip of the martian marines looking at the habitat, Deimos is barely visible in the sky and a light is seen heading towards it. I wonder if that represents the missiles. The final change in the season is next episode.
