My best friend and I were discussing how to improve upon some of the concepts in the Naruto story, such as dialling back the mountain destroying abilities and Kaiju sized Yokai and condensing the shinobi abilities down to be more in line with what shinobi are supposed to be.

One of them involved re-contextualizing the Akatsuki group.
