Dropbox is still bugged

Sorry for the spam :C
I though I had a work around but still nothing.
I did get a message from a specialist according to them followed the steps but SPOILER ALERT IT DIDN'T WORK
this is what they told me to do:

Hi Rajii,

Thank you for contacting Dropbox. My name is Sheldon. I am a specialist from the Enhanced support team at Dropbox, and I'll be helping you today.

From my understanding, you are reporting an error occurs when access a shared link. I will certainly do my best to assist you with this.

I have reviewed the shared link provided, and I can confirm that it does appear to have been disabled, which is why the error is occuring.

The shared link provided, also appears to be using the older link structure.

However Dropbox has since moved to an updated shared link architecture where links are based on content rather than on users.

The new links can be identified by the presence of an ‘rlkey’ parameter in the URL.

In this case, can you please try deleting the existing link using the following steps.

Once the link has been deleted, please try create a new shared link to the folder in question.

You can then test the shared link via an incognito or private browser tab.

if for any reason the new shared link has the same issue, please reach back out with the new link and I will be happy to investigate further.

If you have any questions, please let me know.

Just did a quick test and removed the Dropbox app, accessing the folder on mobile no longer works, error 400. So this might be an issue with mobile browsers and Dropbox? Either way it works on mobile if you use the app and appears to work just fine on PC

Joseph

Same just tested on PC and the links work fine

Joseph

The two newest links (looks to be the same, but with different parameters) works fine on my computers browser.

One thing someone did and I could replicate is when you get the empty folder bug you can still download a zip file with the content

Rajii

Yeah works 100% when using the app for mobile, haven't tested on PC but probably will be the same

Joseph

Decided to try some things, open the link in the app worked, for whatever reason browser does not
