2025-08-22 15:44:42 +0000 UTCYou'll notice that the Marine at the Camp Pendleton gate saluted John. You don't salute NCOs (like staff sgts as Basilone is at that point), but everyone salutes a Medal of Honor winner regardless of rank including commissioned officers
