Patreon New's Billing Cycle

Hi everyone!

I wanted to update you about some changes to the Patreon billing system. Right now, everyone gets charged on the 1st of each month, no matter when you sign up. I liked this because it was fair for both the subscribers and myself to schedule a monthly set with everyone having the same amount of content, whatever the day they would sign in.

But starting November, Patreon is switching to a new subscription billing model. This means if you sign up, for example, on September 15th, you'll get charged again on October 15th, and so on: you'll stay subscribed for a full month

This change only affects new patrons. If you're already a patron, nothing changes—you’ll still be charged on the 1st of each month. But if you cancel and come back later, you’ll be on the new system.

This change is because of Apple’s billing system which Patreon HAVE TO comply (and btw if you use the iOS app, Apple takes a 30% fee. If you can, I recommend setting up your billing through the website or an Android device to avoid the extra fees).

I've thought a lot about how I could adapt to the new system and to be honest, I didn't find any good solution. I don't want to extend my early access period to prevent those who will conveniently subscribe in the middle of the month to get two sets for the price of one, keeping simmers who can't subscribe away from my free content. I want to be able to take the time I need to release sets and don't be pressured about being steady at all cost.

So I decided to change nothing while hoping I can remain sustainable🌞I will keep posting relatively monthly new cc sets with relatively the same amount of early access period.
