Apple’s Fees & Delays — Please Read

If you join or renew your pledge through the Patreon app on iPhone or iPad, here’s what happens:
1. Apple adds their 30% fee on top of the pledge, so you end up paying more than the listed tier price.
2. On top of that, the payment is held for up to 75 days before it reaches me.
Yes, I still receive a portion of it eventually, but you’re paying more for no extra benefit, and your support arrives much later. None of this delay or extra cost improves the content you get… it’s just Apple’s policy.
The fix is simple: if you want your pledge to arrive faster and without the extra iOS fee, use Patreon through a web browser (desktop or mobile) or the Android app. Payments from there clear instantly most of the time, with no inflated price.
