TRULY though, the beauty of pacifism in magic it seems is the joy of it and the ride, rather than seeing it as the way to a goal. The goal is magic itself, and I think Sense can sense that in them... haha

Forget about pacifists. Sense was just letting everyone know she doesn't want anyone to die, unlike the proctor from the first exam. Those clones are being produced by a monster, not another mage. Denken pointed this out

The only "pacifist" side of the test is that they may come out of it alive. It's a first class mage test after all. They still have the mentality of might makes right from the times of war against the demons, as Richter said in a previous episode.

I remember seeing people jokingly theorize HE was actually the Isekai'd protag of a story that's yet to exist, but his strong grasp on The Fundamentals of Pro Gaming and Gamer Mentality lends some credence to this theory As for the whole "must've not sat right with em" line, remember Kanne + Lawine's last interaction with Denken's crew was The Boulder calling them inexperienced children that he has to babysit (i.e. try to kill)
