Added 2024-07-10 16:41:55 +0000 UTChi gamers- in all honesty im not sure if i want to keep continuing my reactions to this anime following some of the scenes in todays episode. if you are familiar with the manga and can let me know if this is gonna get worse- or stay the same it would be very very appreciated.

This brings back an old trope I don't think I've seen in about a decade. Rather than the oblivious or denial trope, Kuze seems to be playing the Tsukkomi (straight man) to Alya and Yuki's antics.

This is more of an ecchi anime, so yeah, there will be more scenes like these. I agree with some of the other comments, if you are not comfortable with these kinds of shows, you should substitute it with something like Giji-Harem, which is nothing but wholesome fluff; I will say though that Roshidere DEFINITELY compensates the ecchi scenes with AMANZING character chemistry and story development further down the line.

Nothing wrong with having uncomfortable feelings about some stuff in anime but plenty of anime watchers like that things can be weird and not the normal kind of tamed down censored garbage thats on tv a lot these days.

2024-07-11 18:57:16 +0000 UTCIt wouldn't be very enjoyable to watch reactions of you being uncomfortable anyway so do whatever feels right for you. Personally I agree that the changing room scene and such is just no thanks, and while say My Dress Up Darling has similar stuff to me it makes a huge difference if the ecchi stuff is directed solely at the audience or towards the other characters. Like the first episode when Alya accidentally flashed her panties to Kuze. While uncomfortable it directly leads to both funny and serious moments for the characters afterwards so there's some reason to have it there which to me makes it easier to ignore and accept, but this here was just so unnecessary. As for Yuki I just view her as a hilarious albeit weird as fuck troll without any actual incestous vibes, then again you never know with anime. Something can seem to just be all wholesome and funny and then take a huge turn when you least expect it, but I like to give stuff the benefit of the doubt as long as I can.

Thought the whole Russian thing got stale. But I’d give it another episode to see what you think. Since as someone mentioned, it is important plot wise. To me it just kinda seemed like every single cliche romance trope all fit into one. But see what you think. You might end up liking it.

2024-07-10 19:34:11 +0000 UTCI feel like this whole trope with "wincest" is in so many Anime, that it is difficult to avoid. Like with other tropes in Anime like Fanservice, when you watch a lot of Anime you used to it. You really get desensitised by it. I didn't even blink an eyes because it is so "normal". Same when you consider the age of 80% of the Anime characters and then you have fan service. Most of them are in High School, which often is the main audience for Anime.

2024-07-10 18:15:14 +0000 UTC**After watching** If I get what you are complaining about correctly, then your main complaints are certain scenes you find uncomfortable to watch. Sadly, I can’t fully debunk this point because no one knows how they will adapt the rest of the series. But I‘d say there won’t be more scenes than in todays episode (with the exception of the one scene in LN V3 I‘ve mentioned before / but thats an extreme wich most readers didn’t like). I think, maybe, there will be one of such scenes per episode at max (not even in every episode, though), so there’s no need to worry thinking it’s gonna get worse than in todays episode. I agree today was a bit much, especially the scene of Alya changing wasn’t really necessary to show that much. So in conclusion, if your main worry is that there are gonna be even more scenes in the following episodes, rest assured there probably won’t, because the story should really start moving forward in the next 1-2 episodes and there won’t be any time for unnecessary fan service. But of course take all I‘m saying with a grain of salt, at this point nobody knows what the next episodes are gonna look like. But I really hope you will continue to react to this show, i promise the main plot is really good. Again, thanks for reading :)

2024-07-10 18:14:37 +0000 UTC*Halfway through“ Yeah so… Yuki‘s personality is certainly unique and it’s not gonna change (at least with her brother), but it gets better later on (maybe because you get used to it? I don’t know) . But there are only very few scenes like the one with Yuki in Kuze‘s bed, but it’s understandable one might find that a little uncomfortable. Still, this will get better later on ;)

Next weeks episode is gonna be an extremely important one story wise (at least I think based on the Pacing). The one thing I can’t really comment on, though, is the Fan service. Mainly because it’s much more „present“ (dunno wich word fits best) in the Anime than expected (even tho I don’t really mind it that much, I still understand the criticism). But what I can say for certain is that in the Light Novel (wich is way ahead of the Manga) there aren’t that many more Fan service scenes in the future, even tho there are gonna be a few more later on in this first season. There is one chapter in the Light Novel vol. 3 (the Hypno thing, IYKYK) wich even I found really uncomfortable reading and I really hope they leave this out. But based on the fan service we‘ve been getting so far I‘m certain they are gonna adapt this specific chapter as well (should be episode 8-10, maybe). But in general it‘s not gonna get any „worse“ I think, but everything is possible so please don’t take what I said for granted. **Light Spoiler** From now on the plot basically evolves around the student council election in wich Alya participates in as well as Yuki, and furthermore around the romance between Alya and Kuze (these „aspects“ happen simultaneously, of couse) **End of Spoilers** So all in all, I may be a bit biased towards this series because I‘ve read it already and really enjoyed the read, as well as the first 2 episodes that are already out. But I think you should continue to react to this series, at least for 1-2 more episodes until the „real“ story of this show starts. I‘m really sorry I‘ve wrote this much, but I really do hope you will continue this reaction (I promise the actual story is really good), so I‘d be very grateful if you could give it at least one more episode. If it happens that you really don’t want to continue it would be a shame, but if that happens than neither I nor anyone else would complain. Thanks for reading :)
