To answer your one question, I believe Overlord started as a web novel then was compiled into a light novel before becoming a manga and then anime and movie. The story goes that the creator was saddened that all their D&D buddies all got too busy with lives and families to play anymore, so he channeled all his spare creativity into writing this. Overlord can be enjoyed as just a fun dark fantasy series, but it has deeper layers beyond that of love and loneliness for people who can empathize with the characters. As many times, what is being said openly is not the whole truth. After seeing some of your other reaction series, I genuinely think you will enjoy this show. You have sharp insight, deep empathy, knowledge of both anime and game tropes, and an appreciation for both light and dark humor. Legitimately, I think this series is something you will enjoy, whether you make it into reaction content or not. And yes, looking respectfully, the woman with the horns is stunningly gorgeous, and she is also a fascinating character in her own right. Definitely a fan favorite.
