The Future Of RTP Ero-Adventures

Hi everyone!

It's time to speak about RTP Ero-Adventures and its future. Some important changes comes to this project and I'm going to explain them.

What happened to this project?

Supposedly, the past summer we should have released the V. 0.0.3 of the game but for many reasons it was impossible to release it. Also, during this period we found that the game didn't raise any expectations for people...

We've failed...

Yeah! We have failed trying to express what we want with this game. Our expectations with RTP Ero-Adventures were and are:

• Make a parody of the RTP (Run Time Package) from the RPG Maker VX Ace.
• Create an easy to make...
• ...and simple to play game.
• Create a game with a totally opposed mood to Punished Mai.
• This game should have been some kind of transition game between Punished Mai and our next big game.
• And finally, we want this game to have a lot of fun, humour and of course, a lot of hentai content.

But looks like we've failed miserably in our intentions cause there was almost zero interest on this project.

More problems!

Not only the lack of interest but other problems affected the development of the game. Here is a small list:

• Bugs with the saves: Some scripts caused corruption of save files or simply are 'incompatible' with the way we made releases for the game.
• The new translation system: We'd created a new tanslation system for this project but we caused a fucking mess with it... and also the Spanish translation is incomplete on the curren verision of the game.
• The artistic style: Is causing me more headaches than I expected at first... I'm a noobish artist and drawing chibis isn't my thing :/
• And other small things like some inconsistences and bad configurations on the default database of RPG Maker, ...

What to do now?

Taking into account that we are NOT going to cancel this game we've decided to make big changes without sacrificing the original concept and purposes of the game.

New Drawing Style

We're going to abandon the Chibi style in favor of other style that I'm more familiar with. Here is a comparison:

(The new full image of Leia will be relesed this week as a Screenshot Saturday. It will include nipples. ^^)

There still remains some chibi drawings for funny moments.

New way to obtain skills

A complete revamp on the way to obtain skills on the game will be done. More info on this on a future development report.

New way to release the game

The game will be released once it's finished (no more mini-releases). First for patrons in the appropriate order for their tier, and later the public release.

The public release will have two options:

• Free: For people who only want their ration of porn no matter what. ^^
• Paid: This version its exactly the same (maybe we'll include some extras) but is for people who want to give us some support but don't like Patreon.

Of course, the GOLD edition remains only for the highest tier Patrons.

Betas

Probably we'll be releasing some betas during the development of the game but you have to take 2 things into account:

• They will be privated (only for Patrons)
• These betas will be untested and (almost for sure) will only be available in spanish.

English Translation

One of the main reasons for this changes is the English translation. We'll be doing the game in Spanish and when it's finished we'll translate it to English.

Hopefully, this will make our lives easier ^^ and this also mean that the betas will be only in Spanish (as I said above).

Universe

And in order to show our own support for this project we announce that the RTP Ero-Adventures will have its own universe with 5 mini projects to enrich its universe.

(note the RTP Ero-Adventures was the only of our projects without an universe.)

Version 0.0.2b

Considering all the above said, we can say that the V 0.0.2b is outdated right now, so we're considering to make it public some time in the upcoming months.

We're alredy working on these changes but this will be info for other post in a near future.

Hope everyone understands the reasons for this changes and of course we're open to more suggestions to make this a better game.
