Status update this time.
Since I’m still expanding on the AI for the Boss, there’s not much else to say. Except that it’s progressing quite nicely. I’m almost done with it and sooner than later, I’ll have to go back to the animations, to get the grapples and Sexttacks animations done. So yeah, we’re finally getting there.
Well since there’s not much to say this time (except showing something of the working Boss, and that would ruin the surprise :( ). I’ll take the chance to thanks everyone that gave opinions, thoughts and feedback on the difficulty for the Boss.
And now I’ll give some insights while answering some of the received feedback, etc.
So based on the overall opinion, you’re looking for a bit of a challenge, and that’s how we’re focusing it. We’ll make it this way: we’ll test it and tweak it until we can defeat it, then that’ll be the default difficulty. Then with the release we’ll see your reactions over it and if it’s too hard or too easy, we’ll be probably making a revision 1 release tweaking it further.
This may have caused some misunderstanding among some of you, so I’ll clarify: This is the first Boss you’ll face in the Arena, not the first one you’ll face in the game. So even if it seems a bit hard when you face it on the Arena, don’t get too mad because it won’t be the first one in the game (even though we’ll try to make it defeatable for everyone).
Another thing to tell you is that, since there’s no save-game implemented yet, we won’t go the crazy way making you go through levels to fight the Boss at the end. It’s more like a Mission focused on the Boss himself.
Also keep in mind that the overall behavior and Sexttacks, were designed/decided by a Patron. Based on what he told to us, we planned the “battle script” making it some changes as well to make it a bit of a surprise even for him.
Also, I read about if the Boss will end up as a normal enemy. Short answer would be no, that’s gonna be a Boss and just a Boss, but I can’t enter into more details (why would I need to give more details? :P) to avoid spoiling it xD.
And to add one last thing, don’t worry everyone, it won’t be a timed fight. It’s taking too much time for us to get it done (and for you waiting to get your hands on it) to make it with a countdown. Nah, we’ll leave you take all the time you want to fight him.

Oh, one more thing before going. We’ve seen this happening quite a lot lately and it’s related to people not finding the Fantasy Cards for their tier. We’ve seen questions about this everywhere on discord, on patreon, on twitter, etc.
I want to clarify that you can access your FCs just by going to the Project List (linked on the frontpage and on the pinned post called “MUST READ”). There (which is a table with lots of useful info) look at the bottom to find a Card/Option/Tab called “Fantasy Cards”, just click in there and you’ll be presented with a new table with all the links you need for the Fantasy Cards.
When in your corresponding post with the cards, keep in mind that even if they’re not viewable (yeah, sometimes patreon break the links and they won’t show) you can still go to the end of the post where you’ll find all the cards in the attachments section for you to download and save on your PC. And that would be just it.
And if you get errors while using them, first make sure you’re using the Fantasy Cards for the version you’re playing (this is basically that you downloaded them by using the Project List Links if you’re playing the latest version) and read the “Fantasy Card System FAQ” (find the links in the same place where the Project List link is).
Hope this gets read a lot, and it helps everyone with problems with them. If you’re asking about this and don’t get answered is basically because we’re too busy and this stuff is all easily accessible.
