First, I want to say thank you all so much for all the love in my recent painting! I really enjoyed painting that one so Iβm very happy to hear the positive response! ππ«Ά
I also want to welcome new patrons! I hope you enjoy it here! π₯Ή
Iβm very excited about this monthβs print rewards because theyβre both fall themes! I will be sharing some work in progress! Iβm continuing the fall theme, but itβs featuring an autumn fairy this time!π
Hereβs the progress of how I painted the fairy! π§ββοΈ
I find the process of rendering the character first helps me further develop the story in the background.
I want to take reference from classical paintings and how their robes and dresses seem so light and airy! Iβm thinking about implementing more autumn leaf motifs in her design.
Hereβs what she looks like in the background! Iβm very excited to paint the fall foliage since Iβm falling in love with a lot of deep oranges and reds lately (Iβve even dyed my hair an auburn colour last weekend) ππ§‘
