And I think Trinidad and Tobago is in the mix too. Which explains why his accent his so diverse - there's alot of different influences. But what's interesting about it is that the inflection isn't always there - it usually pops up when he's asking a question in a flirty or teasing way.

I don’t feel like it’s used much in American daily language and it’s so much more eloquent than just saying something like “seriously or I’m serious”… your explanation about RP kinda makes “genuinely” make more sense now! I think we've all heard K's britishism in his audios but I've never been able to pin point why he sometimes sounds british. I think I've just figured it out and I have to share: The way he says the word "blushing" ("Are you blushing?") in this audio sounds very RP to me. He switches pitch between the blush-part and the ing-part, which in my experience americans don't do. An american would say the entire word in the same pitch. Granted, English is not my first langague so I could be talking some bullshit right now. 😂
