It’s totally cute in audios because K obviously says and means it in a loving way, and obviously the girl in this case likes being called princess. But to me it’s always had a negative connotation and is equivalent to being called spoiled, entitled, whiny, lazy, etc. Aside from maybe being a cutesy nickname for a little child, I’ve never heard it used lovingly or as a term of endearment before hearing K say it. 😅 It’s fascinating how words can have such different meanings to different people, in different parts of the world, etc

Because like you, that’s how the word was used around me growing up. I don’t mind it in audios because it’s always said lovingly as a term of endearment, & it seems to be common in DDlg to use it. But other nicknames like Sweetheart always land better with me, again I think because of my associations with it.

And i will never change this😊 in my early twenties i was several times in sweden and it was instant Love♥️ if i ever be able to, i buy a house over there! I dont know how it is to live there constantly... But i've had the most relaxing time in sweden🥰 And btw.... The skarsgard family is stunning! All of them! Tarzan, vikings, river, it... Basically be humble and don't act like your shit don't stink - cause it does. I find it so fascinating. 😃 Second of all: This might just be a swedish thing, because I've mentioned it to some of my close friends and they have the same negative reaction to princess, or prinsessa as we say, as I do. For me personally the word has a complicated meaning because as I said my parents used it to discipline me. So being called a prinsessa was never a good thing. But I'm trying to relearn that and I appriciate all of you sharing your interpretations. ❤️

This might just be my brain chemistry or more specifically how I was raised but being called a princess was and still is not a compliment. It's a way to call out lazy, ungreatful or spoilt behaviour. So everytime he says it I get these really conflicting feelings - like I know he means it in a loving way but I've only ever heard it or preceived it as a bad word. And I would love a defintion to try and make it a good word ... if that makes sense? 😂🙈🥺
