I'm glad you like the ones I drew! I've enjoyed drawing ponies in human form before, but drawing them as ponies has been a new experience, and it's been really fun! Just like you said, Twilight and Kaisa have a lot in common! I totally agree with everything you explained, haha! Plus, they both look really good in purple! That's probably why Twilight is my favorite pony. I've always been drawn to characters that look good in purple, haha! While drawing them, I realized that My Little Pony style is really amazing! I should keep practicing! Now I know why people fall in love with ponies haha! It's fun and rewarding to see myself improving in various ways every year! There are many styles I will challenge myself with in the future haha! Thank you for watching!

2026-01-15 18:29:13 +0000 UTCDrawing David and Kaisa like allegories of Spike and Twilight is so genius!!! 💜💙 It captures perfectly Kaisa's studious nerdy librarian's personality, her purple color scheme, David and her Older Sister-type relationship, the aspect of Spike starting out a cute little dragon then growing into a strong dragon, Kaisa's magic ability, and so on. I had not thought of it before, but Kaisa is quite similar to Twilight in some ways, isn't she? That must be why those types of characters are popular, they are cute neurotic bookworms! With cute boyish sidekicks who try their hardest despite being more down to earth and with common sense. Although funnily enough, in the show Spike is in love with Rarity because she is very refined and womanly, while Twilight is consistently annoyed by this (maybe because it's distracting her beloved sidekick who she raised from herself?). But here, David as a dragon seems to appreciate Kaisa the most. Clearly David as a dragon recognised who the truly superior unicorn is! I also quite appreciate your OC's depiction as well. Although they are not a parallel for an mlp character, the ready for action pose and messy rugged markings tell us a lot about what to expect this character to be like. Very cool designs! These are definitely ripe with potential, just like humanisations are!
