IggyπΈ has been positively cooking on this background for our next collaborative piece. It's going to be a delight and Kittπ° is going to have some elements to drop in as well.
Last month when I did the garden witch minicomic it was intended to just add a little bit more context that might make the scene a little bit more provocative. I feel like things in front of your eyes are titillating, but what lives in your brain is what's erotic.
This time with the animation I'm going to experiment with adding some frames of limited lead-in animation so that the context/story building happens within the animation, not in a supplemental comic. Spoiler: that book she's holding is full of erotic notions.π³
Now I know what you're thinking-- Winton-- remember the comics you're working on! And to that I say don't worry, I'm on it π I just wanted to share some of the stuff that's been going on in the background.
I'm still not sure quite how or how often to share this collaborative stuff, since it involves more than myself, but I would like to give you a glimpse into things you can look forward to!

I'll make another post showing some of the process steps of getting to this character because it's a bit more cartoony than the previous garden witch. I wanted a design that would be a bit easier to animate, using the primary colors of late 60's medieval revival fashion.
Also, we didn't discover this until this week, but Iggy and I are both big fans of the musical Camelot, in particular the 1967 film version.

This Bob Peak illustrated poster has been on reference boards for me for the past 13 years or more, I love it so much. π This heavily photo-refenced illustration style of the 60s and 70s has been hugely influential on me. The bold, flat color shapes, etc. Fantastic stuff.
Happy Monday!
