As you'll see fro the progress video, I took a couple of a little detours before deciding upon the final design... The hardest part of these types of looks based on stereotypical designs is trying to re-create a visually iconic but with my own spin. I'm not sure how successful I was here!?
Something I did attempt differently was waiting until the design was fully underway before even attempting to draw the face. The experiment didn't go as well as I would have liked and I reworked the eyes 3 or 4 times trying to find a look which worked. :-s
