Dear Pink & Fluffi Patrons...
I'm not sure there's very much I can say about this particular design... While drawing this ballet-heel design I kept telling myself not to become fixated on it being like the 'ultimate prissy heel'. So I had to keep telling myself in my head that its going to be just one Ballet Heel design in a whole fictional shoe of many, many shoes.
The reason I had to tell myself not to become fixated, is because its far to easy for me to become focused on the idea that any image I'm working on, somehow needs to be the 'All & Everything Image', encompassing everything I could ever want & need to be in a single image. Which really isn't a good mindset to have. ^_^;
That said, this design came out better than I had hoped and I really enjoyed drawing this illustration. :)

There are sometimes other designs which quickly come and go, but that's okay, because if I'm not really happy with the direction a design is taking, then I really don't want to spend 10-20+ hours trying to take the design to a place where I finally find it acceptable. ^_^;

2023-08-31 16:17:27 +0000 UTCNothing wrong with fixation you have, the problem is that when you are at point where you want to change something because you think it will be a better design, that's where you need to say okay this is the first edition. Then be content in releasing it as finished version. There's no artistic rule that says you can't release various iterations of the same basic design. I would love to have seen you released a finished version of the original design of this shoe. I have seen many Patreon artists take their original artwork and add or change it slightly and release it as new content. Kat, I saw at least 4 designs of that shoe. You are overworking yourself because a lot of your designs never see the light of the day if it wasn't for these videos. So next time when your at a conjunction where you want to scrap a design or make a radical change to it. Don't scrap the original design no matter how much you hate it. Release it as original content, and then go ahead make the alterations for next time you wanna release a new shoe design. Sorry for the rant. I just think you're so talented that you don't realize that some of your worse designs are brilliant and should be released as stand-alones.
