Our favourite gay vampires are back!

INTERVIEW WITH THE VAMPIRE S2 E1 - UNCUT

Comments

The movie mentioned about a month of darkness was called 30 days of night and it’s a great vampire movie 🎥

Khandiee82

Yes I know. The show is already on the list.

“That’s not how you put out a fire!” 😂

Suze

Yes!!!! Wonderful, glad to see IWTV reviews back. Can’t wait to see your thoughts on Ep 2!!!

Maisy

Dreamstat (as Jacob Anderson calls him) is just in Louis's head because he's feeling guilty and misses Lestat. Armand and Louis's bedroom is sort of set up like a prison, don't you think? With the bars and all. It makes you wonder, right?

Jamie

The singer on the radio was Edith Piaf, a popular French singer from the 40s. Love her.

Jamie Schmidt

Fangs for this

Gina Lipkin

Great gory glory watch with you boys, they do the gore well, interesting gaps to be filled in, Louis memory, his over protective boyfriend, being able to sleep in a normal bed, going to be our dramatic theatre night time viewing, thank you

Gina Lipkin

Maybe, Louis' spotty memory is a vampire version of alzheimer's syndrome. Maybe eating animals instead of humans causes it? I have no idea if that's where this is going. Also, I laughed when Louis said that he and Claudia are the only good ones! Seriously, she's a literal serial killer. Anyway, since I can't figure out Discord to save my life, I'll post my suggestion on a show you should react to. Dead Boy Detectives is fantastic show with gay rep. They're ghost who solve supernatural cases. It's funny and touching and a little spooky. It is set in the same world as Netflix's The Sandman. There are two characters from it that appear but it's not needed to be watched before Dead Boys. Would love to watch you guys react to it.

Steven Jump

Well we’re getting right off the bat 🤣

Diane Furlong

oh i'm so excited to see your reaction as episodes drop!! we're in for a treat this season! p. s.: it's been confirmed by the producers and actors that dream lestat (or "dreamstat", as jacob anderson and sam reid call him) is louis' manifestation of guilt and self-hatred. so lestat didn't actually tell louis he's gonna wait until he's happy to kill him... louis hates himself so much he can't let himself move on and be happy. plus: if you wanna watch (and perhaps even react... :p) to the cast reacting to that last "you and me" monologue scene, here's a link! i love their takes and behind-the-scenes views and explanations on it. to be fair, i love all their interviews... but this one particularly is interesting! nice insight :) https://youtu.be/RBEhp-EQVtA?si=XSfVvl6TegTtcXU9

lo !!

Yay! This was a pleasant surprise, thought we'd have to wait until it was available on iPlayer 😭

CallsignFangirl

The way they are telling the story is already feeling different from last season. My biggest question so far is, at what point did they realise that they could sleep in an actual bed and not a stuffy, cramped coffin?? I mean, that would have been the first thing I tired as a vampire!

Chris Metzger

I love this show so much. Can't wait to watch this season with you guys. I don't know if you remember Lestat talking about how he was turned into a vampire. But that scene with Daciana had big parallels. Also I think it's interesting that Louis is imagining Lestat during his 'Me & You' speech to Claudia.

Bridie

bailey bass who played claudia in s1 had to be recast as she stars in the avatar movies and was already signed on for the next movie so her schedule couldn’t allow her to be in s2 aswell!

Olivia

Looks like this season is going to be quite juicy, and your videos will be the cherry on top. Interested to hear your thoughts on the actress who has been recast for Claudia's role, how do you think she went?

Chris Mackenzie

So happy to see this is back!
