The Cockpit
Added 2024-06-17 20:40:57 +0000 UTCIt's finally here! I have never worked harder on a project and this still took way more work than I expected. It's a bit more advanced to print than a lot of my other files, but overall I tried to make it as easy as possible to print and paint. Turn off supports except when instructed.
Each section of the cockpit has it's own folder and images to clarify the printing and assembly.
It's also optimized for optional AMS (multi color) printing, most panels and buttons are the same depth so you can just knock out all of the filament changes on a single layer. The prototype in the photos was done with 2 AMS units and has no paint. If you only have one, I recommend printing all of the silver panel lining and yellow buttons in white and going over it with a silver sharpie and yellow paint.
LED lighting is something I hope to be able to bring to these files in the future, but is not currently supported. If you had experience with LED's, I'd love to chat!

Light gray (main body)
