July Projects Reveal

Hey friends,

All our July projects are selected and some of them are already started, so there's no need to keep the suspense any longer. Before I begin, however, I would like to mention that Milana (YoruNoAme) will be taking a much needed vacation in the next two months once she finishes Albedo, but we certainly expect her to come back in September with another release.

Now, for July models. First of all, we've got our poll winners. Our team member Vik will be taking care of Orin the Red from Baldur's Gate 3, and we've even got a very nice sketch to go on from, which some of you might have seen in our Discord already.

When Fran from Final Fantasy XII won the second poll, I immediately thought of Rafaela Mello  (a.k.a. Nympha3D) as the perfect artist for the job. And true enough, she was excited to take the project and was, in fact, looking for an opportunity to sculpt that character for a while. It's not our first time working with Rafa, so we have full confidence in her skills.

Next, we've got another model from our team member Totenn, who seems to have recently found his passion in sculpting characters in less than pristine condition, a touch beyond their expiration date, and the definite article in their name. Thus, as soon as he finished The Ghoul, he immediately announced The Plague from Dead by Daylight as his next choice. While the character itself may stand out from our usual lineup, I see no reason to deny Totenn this opportunity. We do like to experiment each month, after all.

A certain someone has been buzzing at my ear for the entire week, less than subtly hinting that we should drop everything and sculpt the recently announced Legendary Kitsune. So we will, even though I feel sorry for an unrevealed character that's been kicked another month forward for the second time in a row because something else came up. The project will be handled by Katerina Likhacheva, our new guest artist that has been in our sights for a few months. And, unlike the original skin, we promise to offer the model at a slightly cheaper price than $500. And for the record, this tactic only worked on me once, so please don't DM me your favorite characters every few hours from now on.

Lastly, we have Melinoë from Hades II by Alex Gray (not to be confused with Gray World; totally different artists!). We've kept our eye on Alex since last year and even spoke once before, but we've been patiently waiting for a project that would suit his style. Even though I don't normally like having characters from the same title in consecutive months (shhh, don't point at the owlbear in the room!), I decided to make an exception this one time since Alex wanted to sculpt Melinoë so much.
