Basically, I crunched the numbers, and I can't really afford to commission that much artwork without some more money flowing in, but I don't want to charge people an arm and a leg either. Hence, tiers.
One dollar patrons, you're still get the comic, obviously, and at the same rate as always: one black and white page each month.
You pinch some pennies and go up to three dollar pledges, you'll get two pages a month. That second page you get this month will be posted to the one dollar patrons next month, so they won't miss out on anything, they'll just have to be patient. Or, screw patience, like a balla.
Five dollar pledges, in addition to the ficlets they're already getting, will receive the two black and white pages, and one of them will be in color. And this is just for four dollars more than the one dollar patrons, but you're getting three times the content.
Seven dollar patrons--that's new--get two pages in black and white and in color, so they don't even have to look at that indie comic nonsense if they don't want to. Their entire lives can be in color.
