As you can see in the GIF above work has started on creating grenades / bombs, thanks to FishFish. Pulsey is now working on an elegant way to handle the tile damage and changes in tile sprites (like damaged tiles, blood, footprints) and creating an easy to use API for the system to make it easy for the developers to use.
Also this week has seen a huge increase in contributors and members to our discord thanks to the Sseth video! A lot of people have tried the byond version but are on the hunt for a lag free spessman experience. We are very greatful for all of the new Patrons and Developers who have come on board because we too want to play lag free ss13 and the increase in support gets us there sooner.
We managed to pick up 4 more developers this month and have seen a few older contributors come back and try there hand at a some issues. We are also on the look out for more code reviewers to help with the increase in PR's.
This month see's the end of our focus on bugs and begins our movement into creating the content for Medbay, Mining and Cargo. We will spend 2 months on these departments and focus our bounties on a feature list that will get us closer to the 0.4 beta release. After we have finished those departments we will start looking into providing all of our patrons with steam keys so they can get an exclusive look into the game. So I will email everyone when it gets to that stage.
Some other neat features:
Chairbender has implemented intent behaviours for when you run into another player:

Bod has coordinated with a spriter (named Stritirok) to develop these department battery banks (our departments do not store the batteries in APCS for the electrical system, they may however change to APC batteries after 1.0):

Foma has been working on reducing the RAM footprint so the game will run on older mobile devices:

Hamish has been working on wet floors / slipping:

And Bod has also been working on the Medical Health Scanner:

More Medbay features to follow in the coming weeks along with Cargonia and Mining, so stay tuned. For the month of March we have spent a total of $496 through our bounty payment system so thank you to everyone who has donated, it is much appreciated. More updates to come in the month of April.
