$15+ Patrons Playable Game Build (v0.4) DOWNLOAD! - SoR v0.4

ATTENTION ROMANS!

It is on this holy day of Martius, we are honored to present you with the forth build of Slaves of Rome (v0.4)! A big version, focused on features!

 This is the "normal" ($15 version) Roman's build. It has most of the features now unlocked, but, you start with just enough dinari (gold) to get you started.. so... you'll need to work your way up! 

Citizens, bare in mind!: Rome is still in development! There will be bugs! We are working very hard to have as little as possible, but at the end of the day, this is still a game in development, so it's nearly impossible to completely avoid them. We are always happy to hear about any problems you encounter so we can fix them ASAP for future builds. Please let us know if you find any. The optimization is still not perfect so lower spec PCs might still have a hard time to run the game – use the 'setting menu' to lower graphics if you need. We are still working hard to improve it as much as we can, as fast as we can.

It's important to say – this build has 2 new big systems (quests and playing as female). Which is a good thing.. BUT: Those were very hard to build and while we wanted have a LOT of content (about 20 animations/positions/skills and about 10 items!) and already have it ready… we just couldn't implement it on time AND release during January. Eventually, we had to make a decision, and decided to push a lot of the new skills/items to the next build. We didn't want to delay v0.4 release. We hope you understand and we made the right choice not leaving you without a build for January. We'll do everything we can to have the next build with this content sooner than usual!

Main New Things This (V0.4) Build Features:

• Playing as female! – It's finally here and working! You can now explore Rome as a female. This took a LOT of hard work and actually took most of the development time for this build, but we hope it was worth it! 
• Quests and Story! – You can now find Maximus, a quest giver and the quest system is working. There aren't too many quests yet (just 2), but they should be easy to add now, so following builds will have a lot of them. We'll also base the story elements of the game on that system.
• New area – you can now explore outside of the city gates! It's a huge area which we'll add more and more secrets to in time. 
• Strap-on – Just like it sounds ;) 
• New positions and skills – Mostly F/F, but we updated the skill tree and added things.

Coming to Next Build (V0.5):

• A lot of new positions/skills! We expect to add about 20(!!) new positions and skills. We have them ready but couldn't implement them all in time for this release.
• Quests – We'll be focusing a lot on adding more cool quests and surprises to explore, mostly outside of the city gates.
• More Slaves – A special shipment is coming from the east.. with more dialogues and story lines
• Better Optimization (will run on even lower spec PCs)

We are growing fast, and we expect to have those upgrades within about a month. An official date will follow.

Please notice:

* Those of you who have the "Avast" anti-virus might get a warning or even a crash upon entry to Rome. Ignore it. Just wait a few moments and it will let you in. 

** This version has a lot of new content and is slightly harder on the PC. The setting menu should still allow the game to run on much lower spec PCs than before, but – it is still not perfect and will get better. Sorry for this, this will keep improving with each build! 

*** Sadly, as we mentioned a few times, we can't keep saves between game versions until the on-line market place is working. We are sorry about this but there really isn't a way around this (we also put a warning about this in the game when launching). Once the marketplace is working, the saves will stay with you. 

**** It's not explained in the game, but you can now press 'tab' and see a character/quest screen
