Finally. This girl took a ridiculously long time to make. She was supposed to come out Christmas Eve, but now she's lucky we made it before New Year's Eve. Unfortunately, there were tiny things that were an absolute pain to make - the dotted pattern on her head, for example. The accessory piece is actually divided down the middle, so the dots couldn't be lined up. Here's a reduced file size look at how that pattern turned out.
As you can see, it's bullshit.
The gloves were ridiculous on their own, since there's an actual dead zone in between the bottom line and the middle line, any pixels that enter that zone immediately go all squiggly and zagged, due to the way the glove's mesh is distorted, but only in that specific area. This made lining everything up quite annoying.
Designing the hair itself was tricky, but only because I was never satisfied with the results. In fact, I wasn't satisfied until last night when I finalized her hair, completely changing it once again. Actually, I'm still debating whether or not I want to add AnotherRamp texture file to it, giving it a sort of metallic appearance.
I won't even get into how many times everything else broke around here. Still, she's done, I love her, I want to return and make more outfits, etc etc.
