Update #60 - Summer Break!

The Sun is scorchin' and the waves are roarin' once again, which means it's time for a quick break in our Paldean journey with Liko! But don't worry, we'll be back one day. As usual during Summer, it's the perfect opportunity to dish out some Water-Type Moemon, since Water-Types are by-far the most common Pokemon with nearly 160 kinds in total! It's probably more if you count forms or other technicalities like Megas individually, but either way, there's no shortage to work with here.

And honestly, I'm not sure if there's even enough time with the stuff planned over these next two months. It's a lot, and nearly all of them are new releases, with only a few reworks. Let's take a look at what we have coming up!

Wingull and Pelipper got a really awesome update and it's time to renew their set!

Of course, plenty of new ones too like Arrokuda and Barraskewda!

..and Clobbopus and Grapploct!

As well as the popular Shellos line! Both variations - East and West!

There's a few classic Water Moemon that we need to rework like Qwilfish or Corsola..

..so we can release their Hisuian and Galarian relatives, like Hisuian Qwilfish / Overqwil and Galarian Corsola / Cursola!

There's other classic Water Moemon that I just want to go back to because I really want to, like Tentacool / Tentacruel, Shellder / Cloyster, and others not shown here - Maybe Horsea/Seadra?

We'll also be redoing the fairly simple Krabby / Kingler line.

..mainly for Gigantamax Kingler, with a possible scene.

There's also the Slowpoke line with her Mega evolution.

Mainly because I want to do the Galarian Slowpoke line!

There's a couple of one-offs as well, like Pyukumuku or Pincurchin!

Some Moemon that barely qualify as well, like Wimpod / Golisopod! They're half-Water!

The Basculin forms as well..

..along with their unusual evolution forms, Basculegion!

Of course, our Legendaries - Phione and Manaphy!

Ducklett / Swanna..

..Mareanie / Toxapex..

..Tynamo / Eelektrik / Eelektross..

..Sandygast / Palossand 

..and plenty of others not shown here today!

These are my initial plans, most of which I've been wanting to do for awhile now but haven't had the right opportunity, but now it's time. There's a few possible exceptions - Shellder, for example, doesn't have a new sprite at all, but I really like the new Cloyster, so I might just do it anyways - Tynamo's line has a couple of alterations that all look good, maybe we'll have a mini vote on which one is best? There's also the chance some may just not work right now, or may need to come back to later - Swanna for example has very unique wings that may not work exactly.

And let's be honest, Mega Slowbro is look pretty rough up there. That particular artist isn't one of my favorites, if I'm being brutal here, but the concept is there at least.. Perhaps Mega Slowbro can wait until a new sprite however.

Whatever the case, there's always a chance some won't work out and other ideas will come up, including with Trainers or other one-off ones, or just new sprites in general over on the official Moemon Discord may catch my attention - we just have to wait and see!
