Spring '25 Teaser

And all of a sudden it is March! I can't say it hasn't caught me out, but here in the UK I'm glad to see the first flower pushing through the soil, tempted out by the sunshine that is starting to make it feel like spring is on it's way. It doesn't feel to premature then to share a preview of our March/April/May photosets, a series of domestic tableau and solo images developed over several days in the summer of 2024, when our photographer Justyna Neryng and lighting designer Tobias Slater-Hunt came up to Wales to a house we had hired for a little group holiday and photoshoot. Each week I'll be sharing some more insight into the artworks that inspired the images, but for now here is a preview of what we'll be releasing in coming months, I hope you enjoy working from them all! About the models

Lance is an artist & tutor at Draw, running in-person & online tutored life drawing classes.
Bella is an artist, model & runs life classes at Draw, the National Gallery & all over the world through Bella's Bits & Bobs.
Nasim is a London-based writer, translator & life model.
Jenni Mac (they/them) is a visual artist, poet, musician & now star of many Draw photo-sets.
Hannah B. has been drawing online with us for years - this is her photo-set debut!
Ellie L. is an artist & life model who has been part of Draw for many years.
Frankie is a lynchpin of Draw, posing with her son Ludo, who she was pregnant with in an earlier set.
Tilli (they/them) is a regular Draw model, featuring in lots of past photo-sets.
We also have cameo appearances in these sets from Martha, Bo & Alejandro

About the photographers

Most of the photos in this series were shot by Justyna Neryng at our 2024 domestic photoshoot in Wales. The photos of Nasim were part of an experimental lighting set u, shot by Olly Hearsey at his studio here in New England House.
