2024-04-17 20:44:26 +0000 UTCThe name Zaraki finally inherited was that of Kenpachi I'm pretty sure. Usually that title is only inherited once the previous Kenpachi is slain in battle. But it seems Unohana left her position and became a healer before that transition happened to her prior successor. Sidenote: Little Yachiru was named after Unohana. Not sure if that's come up before now so I apologize if so.

They condensed the whole fight into an episode to focus on adding more content in cour 3 and cour 4 where the manga got rushed because Tite Kubo was sick.. us manga readers are super excited for the new content coming in the final cours

2024-04-17 13:43:58 +0000 UTCWhen she said that zaraki inherited the unohana's name, she meant kenpachi. Kenpachi is the title of every captain of the 11 squad. Even if she was the first one and later on transfered into the fourth squad, killing her means that he is the official, his successor. I'm still sad about her death, wish more screen time of unohana.
