You depic Jack very well !! I agree with you in all: he sacrifices his time, his health, his family, everything for the cases and wants everybody to do the same even knowing that that way of solving cases destroy them (and himslef) but to save people is the upmost goal and all should be able to give themselves to that goal as much as him does. I see him as the white knight in real life: he wants to do good at all costs and save as much people as he could so of course he pushes and is a Jackass xD

Yes I agree! And it makes sense that's he's like this since he has to deal with the worst of humanity. He has to be hard on those he works with because he knows the consequences of failure is carnage. But he is a good man with a good heart and he cares for people

I've always thought of Jack as a man who, in the pursuit of justice, has lost perspective about what that drive does to the people who work for him. I really like your characterization of him.

Haha the way I think about Jack is that he expects everyone else to be willing and able to give as much as he does; he uses Will because Jack expects him to be as willing to sacrifice as much as he is for the sake of justice, and he can't sympathize with someone who has that skill set but isn't willing to use it for good, despite whatever it does to them. So it's not that he's throwing people at a problem until they break, it's that he's dragging everybody down with him, in my opinion. I don't think all that really comes through when I put him in my comics, nobody else gets a lot of time except Will and Hannibal lol (sorry for the Jack rant, I love Jack ;w; )
