We got together for a second shoot and had a great time shooting in two very different locations!

So much film!

These shoes come from a few different cameras during the same shoot. It’s most expired film, and also shot with not quite enough light for film this old, so some are a bit too grainy or blurry. Lesson learned!

Sunday Lounging

I took a few months off from shoots, so I haven’t had fresh content to share, but this shoot from 2021 just popped up and I thought I’d share it as this was a favorite of mine for a while!

I even have a tee shirt with the first shot printed on it. 😆

It’s not often I can shoot lingerie outdoors at all, much less at night. The weather in San Francisco just does not cooperate!

Welcome to the jungle

A major challenge of shooting in San Francisco is trying to plan around the weather. The forecast may say warm and sunny, but it can’t predict the fog that suddenly rolls in when it wants. This can also bring quite a bit of wind.

My point is that more shoots than I’d like end up needing to be indoors… so to save money, my plant-fille...

Canadian lace

This outfit just worked so well that we kept shooting it across digital and two of my film cameras. Not bad for a first-time model.

Colorless

Shooting in this location will never get old! It’s not very easy to reach from my home, and required quite a bit of sneaking around to access it, but the reward is worth the hassle. Return of Emily

For my third shoot with Emily (across 2 years), we were able to catch the last bit of sun for this rooftop shoot. It’s hard not to love these warm colors, especially when using my 1970s Nikon flash.

Maybe I should start charging my neighbors a cover charge for these shoots!

Contrasting Lily

Editing these shots were so much fun! Often, the subject and setting have more similar color tones, it her tan really stands out against my cooler grey couch and walls.

Sky on film

I use film to capture a more casual and natural-feeling side of my shoots. These shots with Sky are a great example of this!

Shooting on a major street corner in San Francisco takes an extra big of confidence and focus from everyone involved, so I hope you enjoy these!

Forbidden

Getting to this spot a little risky, but it was worth it!! One of my lenses also seems to have an issue that made some shots blurry, but I actually loved the outcome enough to edit and share.
