When the new year hit I took it really hard. Birthday blues on top of current events in the US was.... U G H. So I took a few weeks. I told myself after the 13'th I'd start doing art regularly again.

Gonna try to get back into it. Warm-up based on the fact I spent those weeks MELTING into Skyrim for a while.

Work I shouldn't be doing

Family's been overwhelming me all week. Finally convinced Mom to give me a -day- and wanted to use it feeling better, so here's this.

Playing more with the idea of 3D stuff to expedite workflow. It does make things faster, so far, I just have some concerns with in coperating it into older designs.

Enola Update (New Weapon)

As a warmup for the art stream I tried (something I wanna do more of) I made a new model for Enola's scepter.

The old one is a super ancient model I no longer have -- I'm saving backups of stuff nowadays - and making new material for it was going to be a pain.

Liu Yahui Tweaks

Blender stuff lets me whip out a Bow and textured Sleeve models that I can keep consistent, so I thought I'd take a friends advice and tweak Liu Yahui's design a little.

I'm terrible at colors though. Like the -worst.-

Sylas Commission

Took some quick and dirty commissions to appease the folks when it came to monetary concerns. Here's one I did for Sylas, had fun with the background n'stuff!

Blender Special Effects Test

It occured to me that if I'm using Blender for background elements, I might be able to use it with some effects that have given me trouble in the past.

These are super rough, I spent maybe ten minutes on it, but it's a nice proof of concept. Something that might help me come up with fancier effects by giving me a decent shape to...

Brain wouldn't turn off so I played around with some alternate (easier) ways to try get the effects I wanted for this originally.

Any thoughts or input on it would be appreciated. I think they look serviceable, but they could be better? I just am having a hell of a time finding what I need to do it efficiently.

In more ways than one. I really want to do longer animations (over a minute at least) but I've been having trouble getting all the assets I need for them.  So I opted to use very old assets I made forever ago for use with sprite comics.

Youtube, Discord, and Sound Quality

I'm going to be using Youtube in the future to host videos and embed them. Especially for personal projects. With longer more impactful animations I want to be able to add sound and music to my work for greater impact.
