1. In the draft, Aliza was going to be greeted by a crowd of monsters. It helped make the ending feel "big", but it was too difficult to fit everyone onto one page. I also love Mayor Bear and wanted to give him a chance to shine.

The biggest reason why the hiatus went so long is thanks to some pretty intense writer's block happening on these few pages. I wanted the encounter to get more intense than what ends up happening, but try after try, I couldn't get the panels looking right. Here are some ideas that didn't make it.

The above is what I was going to post last Monday, but oddly enough, come Sunday night, I just didn't like it.
Maybe Sans was acting too sensitive/vulnerable for his character, maybe I was getting tired of constantly drawing the scene and just wanted to move on. Not sure...
Usually a comic page would come with at least one descent sketch or two, but in all honesty, pages 109-114 had pretty much NOTHING of interest to show concerning the drafting process.
