Added 2022-02-26 00:47:55 +0000 UTCThe biggest reason why the hiatus went so long is thanks to some pretty intense writer's block happening on these few pages. I wanted the encounter to get more intense than what ends up happening, but try after try, I couldn't get the panels looking right. Here are some ideas that didn't make it.
From page 128
1: Decapitated Flowey held by Sans. I actually considered Flowey being killed off by Sans at one point.
2: Sans pulling a cleaver from the knife block
3: Sans grabs Aliza and throws her arm against the kitchen counter
4: Hallucinating a meaty drumstick
5: Aliza about to have her other arm cut off.
6. An alternate view of Sans hallucinating Aliza as "melting" into food.
6. An unusued panel of Flowey appearing (somehow) trying to warn Aliza.
From page 129, a quick panel draft.
From page 131, an alternate angle of Sans lamenting what's turning into. Looking back I kind of preferred this draft over the final. It happens.
From page 132:
1: Flowey turns to see Aliza tending to Papyrus. No room in the page for this interaction, and it made Aliza seem regretful of what she'd done. I didn't think she'd feel that way.
2: The kiss draft vs final
