Red Dahlia (2004)

Red Dahlia (2004)

Red Dahlia was a story I did that was originally published in the Drunk Duck: Drunk and Disorderly anthology in 2004. John Daiker helped me so much refine my idea down to something manageable and helped me parse down my pages to something feasible that I gave him co-creator and co-writer credit for it. He was so amazing.

Here's all 23 page...

Lining up the Ducks

Lining up the Ducks

Hi! Some of you may have noticed a Discord invite come your way. I've incorporated this into my Patreon so when you sign up at $3 or higher you get an invite.

I've also changed all my mismatched logos and banners on all of my socials to the ones on Patreon here, so it looks like I'm one person on all of these places.

Comic Update!

Comic Update!

It's been a while since I've updated my Patreon, so here we go. We've been busy over the past few months working on pages. We're at 17 as of this writing. I made a timelapse of the creation of page 17 linked above. I also uploaded the full large page file here, because you guys are my P2Patrons and I thought you'd like to see the detail.

Most of these background characters are going to be covered up by foreground characters, but I still add little stories for my own amusement.

Captain T "color sketch," for page 9.

I usually keep the color schemes for pages in my head, but this one got a little complicated so I wanted to block it out before I went in, guns blazing, coloring the thing. This way I could check the balance before I started and make changes at this stage to colors without a lot of struggle later on. We get to the true colors today, but I wanted...

Another Captain T sneaky peeky

Here's a peek into my current process for putting together pages. I finished the perspective for the background, for the most part. I still need to add in the mountain. People need to be finalized, and T inked. but -yeah. That's the last panel of page 5 of Captain T, pretty much.

The story of the beavers

I add little stories to the backgrounds of my panels. I don't know why these beavers are excited over this box, but they are. I also realized I drew this fox with the C. Den cart from 3 different angles.

Page 4, Panel 2 breakdown: Captain T

I need to start posting more in my Patreon, so let's start with what I worked on today. I FINALLY completed the first panel of page 4, which I also posted here, so enjoy. I was also able to get through a lot of my perspective for panel 2 of the same page. You'll note I don't have any of the other people drawn in yet, because I want to get the ba...

Hi guys! Here you'll see some promo images I made for Captain T from the first 3 pages of the comic. I've included some progress pics so you can see the black and white versus the color and hopefully the work I've been putting into it. The comic is going live this year, I just have a lot of coding ahead of me to get there. Patience, my children....

Hi all! I realize I hadn't updated my Patreon since October of last year and had planned on uploading all of my Inktober prompts way back then, but life got in the way, so I'm uploading them now.

I'm going to be re-working the tiers, adding some more things you guys get and opening up a Discord to Patrons that can later be used to be invol...
