Everyone’s talking about Guillermo Del Toro’s Frankenstein! It’s a story that I’ve always loved and I was going through old art files and found this sketch I did of the Creature, probably from around 2018. Unfortunately the quote from the novel I included makes it look like I think the Creature is named Frankenstein.

Evil Dead 2 Poster Prelims

A couple years ago I was offered a chance to do a poster for Sam Raimi’s Evil Dead 2, one of my all time favorites. I only got as far as the prelim sketches before it kind of fizzled, I would like to finish it properly sometime.

Comic Hack

One of the things about returning to drawing physical pages instead of digital, that is difficult to adjust to, is the problem of having to fix large mistakes. Sometimes you can use white ink or paint, but that can be messy and change the surface texture of the page when redrawing. Sometimes you need a patch!
