Very difficult commission, and it took a lot of time. Typically you want your drawings to be done as soon as possible, with minimal delays. Not only because it's work, but also the longer it takes, the harder it becomes. Drawings almost always turn out better when they are done quickly. I am practicing to become faster.

I have a strong belief that simpler is better, any unneeded complications ruin the art. But making something simple is not easy. I was not planning for background here, but turned out, without background the drawing looked.. wrong, I guess I don't have the skill yet to pull it off.
