Heraldic Nathan

I’ve been this weekend preparing the new covers for the tiers of Patreon.

I wanted to try with a kind of medieval illustration look but referencing heavily my style so it wouldn’t look too abstract.

I enjoyed a lot with the textures for this.

These days I’m very tired. I started my new job and I’m in the formation and setting phase.

But I wanted to fast doodle an idea for a scene that I will eventually finish.

Grumbling

Made this quick Nathan before going to sleep and testing a more elaborated hair and colour effects.

Edit: I fixed a few details that are not very noticeable at first sight but I wanted to do it since I really like this drawing.

Processing

Being working in a c0mmissi0n I can't show and in my free time I started sketching (for the moment) a single page of Nathan's grandma processing his condition and what he must went through and specially how he survived to the attack.
Nathan and his grandma are very similar in that they tend to avoid uncomfortable conversations.
