Addressing the "Zerbu Venue vs Basemental Venue" Question

With the release of my Active Law Student mod, I've gotten numerous questions as it relates to whether or not my mod will be compatible with Basemental Venue. Of course, my answer is always "it might be added in the future", but as of right now it is compatible with Zerbu's custom venue.
"But most of my mods work with Basemental...."
I know a lot of you say that most mods you use require Basemental's venue list, but what a lot of you don't know is that those same mods are also compatible with Zerbu's custom venues. When a creator says to use "Basemental" that is simply their preference. The venue for their mods will almost always show up in Zerbu's custom venues as well.
"Can I have both...?"
The only thing is that you cannot have BOTH venue lists in your game at the same time. They will conflict. Many creators will tell you to choose one.
For example: many of you may use active careers from KiaraSims4Mods. Her preference is Basemental's venue list. However, those mods will also work with Zerbu's custom venues. Or take for example, my active medical student mod.
"So, if it works with Basemental, will it automatically work with Zerbu also?"
Yes, Zerbu's venue list automatically picks up on mods with custom venues in game.
"So, if it works with Zerbu, will it automatically work with Basemental also?"
Not always. Basemental's list does not automatically pick up on custom venues. It requires a process.
I figured I'd try to explain it for those who weren't sure how venue lists work. Hopes this clears things up for you all.
