NO EA MAKEUP: An Override

The required pack for this mod will depend on which vanity table you use.
So, I got tired of my Sims looking clownish after they applied the EA makeup from the vanity table lol. This override allows your Sim to still perform the Apply Makeup interaction, at the vanity table without actually applying the makeup. (They will look the same before AND after). This mod is mainly for storytelling/gameplay purposes.
Conflicts:
This mod is an in-game override and most likely will conflict with any mod that also overrides or alters the use of the Apply Makeup interaction at the Vanity Table.
Compatibility:
This mod is compatible with MyxDoll Fenty Beauty Makeup Override and any other makeup tool override.

2024-06-01 12:36:11 +0000 UTCPerhaps there is a mod that is conflicting with this interaction? After testing, the interaction works and shows up on all vanity tables in game. If you are using DX11, which the Sims rolled out recently in their latest patch, it disables some mods and cc. For troubleshooting, I suggest: 1. Not placing the mod too deep in subfolders (if you haven’t already, try placing it directly in the Mods folder and see if changes anything); 2. deleting and redownloading the mod (sometimes simple solutions like this make the difference); 3. ensuring there are no duplicates; 4. ensuring mods are enabled in game options; 5. deleting your localthumbcache; 6. See if there isn’t another mod that can conflict with the vanity table.

2024-05-28 06:49:46 +0000 UTCI just want to give you a feedback, you don't need to do it the way I tell you, it's just my personal opinion and personal preference. Feel free to accept or disaccept my feedback. So here I go, if I were you I would (if you already know, if not learn how to blender) or take some vanity table cc (no override) and make it that this new vanity table has the same tuning files or animations that let's the Sim apply the make up but without applying the EA make up. The same as your mod, but putting it inside a vanity table cc, that's not an override. This way, we could still have the vanity table from EA, in case we want to apply EA make up to our sims. It's just a feedback, you don't need to do it this way, if you don't want to. I respect your opinion. But your Idea is really great for storytelling, I hope fantayzia will use it in her storytelling videos. ❤ Thank you for making this mod!
