Addressing a Concern + Upcoming Update

I hope that your week is going well for you all so far! If not, I hope that it does soon! I just wanted to briefly address a potential concern that was brought to me recently as a question. I will say first that I appreciate questions because it keeps me accountable as a creator!
But I just wanted to make it clear that my menu overrides do not disrespect Simmattically’s T.O.U. For those who don't know, Simmattically is the original creator of the Main Menu Refresh, which removes ads from the main menu. It is who I got the inspiration from to learn how to create my own.
However...
My file is a completely different file. I have not altered his mod in any way. From what I’ve seen, those who disrespect his T.O.U have been replacing the images in his menu with other photos, then redistribute it with the “Designed by Simmatically” at the bottom of their menus. That is an obvious sign that they stole/altered his work. Also, if their menus will not work without his mod, that is another sign that they have modified his file.
Besides that, our menus are also different. (i.e. He recolored his Scenario Button, I didn’t. He has his menu trademarked, I don’t. I also believe you are able to have multiple images with his mod, my mod only allows for one image at a time.) There are also other small yet differentiating features.

Also, with the release of the Lovestruck EP coming out next week, there is going to be a patch update meaning a lot of mods will break! I am hoping that mines will survive lol, but if not, my mods may go offline for a while as I work to update them as quickly and effectively as I can. Remember to back up your mods, saves and tray files beforehand!
