FAQ’s (Law School Student Mod) - V1

Hi, all

Here are a few FAQs you may run into while using this mod. Note: This is not a comprehensive list. However, most of the solutions listed are known to work.

FAQ’s

Q: What all packs are needed for this mod?

A: You will need Get to Work and Discover University.

Q: I cannot see the computer/phone interactions. Why is that?

A: This is most likely an issue with the XML injector. Have you downloaded all parts and placed them in your mods folder? Is the XML injector only ONE subfolder deep? If it is not, it may not work. Is your game updated to the most current game version?

Q: I cannot see career? Why is that?

A: Does your Sim have an English degree? If they do not, the career will not show up in the job panel. Ensure your Sim has their Language and Literature degree (whether they go to college, or you cheat it lol) and try again.

Q: Why aren't the social interactions showing up for me?

A: Does your Sim have the Law Student trait? If not, the interactions will not show. Also ensure that the ellesimsworld_LawStudentTrait.ts4script is not more than ONE sub folder deep.

Q: I applied to law school and paid the tuition...when will my Sim be accepted?

A: Applying to law school and paying the tuition are only STORYTELLING features. They do NOT impact your actual gameplay.

Q: Is this an active career or will it ever be?

A: Currently, this is not an active career. I am still deciding on whether I want to work on making this career active in the future.

Q: Can my Sim go to a law school venue?

A: No, because this is currently not an active career.

Other Common Troubleshooting Solutions:

• Repairing the game sometimes helps to get rid of random bugs that may be stopping mods from working. Especially new mods.

• Try the 50/50 method with your mods. Isolate the mod and only try it with the other required mods.

• Deleting the localthumbcache can sometimes make the difference!

• Do not place the mod files too deep in sub-folders.

• Unfortunately, the game sometimes has random issues that even I can’t remedy. EA’s code/system isn’t always the most efficient.
